Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
3DBooks.com ("we", "us") is operated from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use 3dbooks.com, including our 3D greeting cards and Agile Rooms, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Account information: your name and email address, and a password if you create one with us. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive your name and email address from that provider. We never receive your Google or Microsoft password.
- Card content: the photos and greeting text you add to your cards.
- Recipient email addresses: the addresses you enter so we can send your card. We use them only to deliver that card.
- Agile Rooms content: the items, files, diagrams and chat messages you add to a room, and voice audio while you use voice chat in a room.
- Technical information: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which our servers record in standard logs used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide the service: show your cards and rooms, and deliver your cards to the people you choose.
- To send emails you ask for, such as card deliveries, account confirmation and password resets.
- To keep the service secure, fix problems and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising.
Who can see your cards
A card can be opened by anyone who has a link to it. Links stop working 30 days after they are created. Only share a link with people you want to see the card. Deleting a card removes its photos and makes its links stop working.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the service. They process information only on our behalf:
- Microsoft Azure: hosting, database and storage of your photos and content.
- Our email provider: delivering the emails the service sends.
- Google and Microsoft: sign-in, if you choose to use them.
- Unity Technologies: the 3D engine and, in Agile Rooms, the multiplayer, voice and text-chat services.
Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and content until you delete them or ask us to. Your cards and their photos are removed when you delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited time for security purposes.
Your choices and rights
You can view, change or delete your cards at any time from "My Card List". To access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account, email us at info@3DBooks.com.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
